LINX 5 Closing to Desktop

LINX 5 closes to desktop without any error messages or notifications. This means I am losing recently unsaved work. This has happened to me 3 times in the past 2 days. Please let me know if there is anything that I can share to help identify the cause.

Hi Goleastro,

We’ll investigate the issue. Can you please provide some information about your system?

  • Linx 5 version
  • Windows version
  • RAM on PC
  • And if there are any “Event Viewer” log entries that corresponds with the crash?

We should be able to identify the issue if we can pinpoint the reason, and the issue a patch.

Best regards,
Dawie

Thanks

Thank you Gabriel.

Those errors looks like “Application Errors” in the event viewer and its starting to point us in the right direction. Normally they come in pairs, “Application Errors” and ".NET Runtime ".

Could you see if there are any of the “.NET Runtime” errors as well?

As example:

Thanks Dawie

I have filtered through the event log and didn’t find any .NET Runtime errors related to LINX or that had happened at the same or similar times.
